XRP leads a Sunday scan of six major cryptocurrencies

At 14:18 CET, XRP traded near $1.30, 1.56% above the previous Google Finance reference. This was the largest absolute move among six checked cryptocurrencies, while regular stock, FX and commodity markets were closed.

On Sunday, 25 October 2026 at 14:18 CET, Google Finance showed XRP near $1.30, 1.56% above the previous reference of roughly $1.28. Its intraday range was about $1.26–$1.31. This is a time-stamped snapshot, not a forecast or a buy or sell recommendation.

At the same minute, we checked BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, BNB and DOGE. Their changes from the previous reference were approximately −0.44%, −1.37%, −0.41%, +1.56%, +0.88% and −1.10%, respectively. XRP had the largest absolute move within this six-asset set; this is not a ranking of the entire crypto market.

Cryptocurrencies remain active over the weekend. Regular stock, FX and commodity sessions were closed at 14:18 CET, so their last Friday levels are not treated as new Sunday quotes.

What does +1.56% actually mean?

The change compares the current reading with the data provider's previous reference. The $1.30 quote is rounded to two decimals, while the percentage can be calculated from more precise source values. Dividing two rounded numbers may therefore not reproduce the percentage to the second decimal.

A complete label needs the instrument, value, reference point and time. Without those elements, a number can look more precise than it really is.

Why compare absolute moves?

To identify the largest move in one scan, we compared the size of each percentage change regardless of sign. XRP at +1.56% moved slightly more than ETH at −1.37%. The sign describes direction; the absolute value describes magnitude.

This comparison applies only to the six named assets and one shared snapshot minute. A different asset set or timestamp could produce a different result.

Fact versus a possible weekend mechanism

The observed XRP change is a fact. The available price data do not confirm one news event as its cause, so we do not attribute the move to a specific catalyst.

Educational scenario: thinner liquidity on some venues can amplify short-term weekend swings. That is a possible mechanism, not a confirmed explanation for this move and not a forecast of what comes next.

How can you practise this in Prodigy?

In the simulation, choose several active cryptocurrencies, record one shared time and one reference method, then rank the changes by absolute value. Separate direction from magnitude and do not mix live quotes with the last closes of inactive markets.

Prodigy uses virtual money and simulated trades. This exercise is not a recommendation, performance guarantee or promise of profit.
