On Sunday, 25 October 2026, live trading continues in crypto, while regular equity sessions and the main FX and commodity sessions are closed. At 05:19 CET, Bitcoin was near $80,774 and 0.05% below the previous Google Finance reference.
In the same snapshot, Ethereum was near $2,361.39 and down 0.70%, Solana was near $102.46 and down 0.03%, and Dogecoin was near $0.077795 and down 1.15%. These values use one source and one observation time, but they are not a full ranking of the crypto market.
Ahead of the next sessions, official calendars show an FOMC meeting on 27–28 October, an ECB meeting on 28–29 October, and a Bank of Japan meeting on 29–30 October. The dates are facts; they do not determine the decisions or the direction of the dollar, euro, yen, bonds, commodities or crypto.

1. What is open today?
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies trade around the clock, including Sunday. A live crypto quote is not an update to a closed equity index, a regular-session FX rate, or Friday's oil and metals prices.
Asia has no regular cash-equity session today. Fresh prices from Tokyo, Seoul and other exchanges will only appear after they reopen on Monday local time.
2. One comparable crypto snapshot
At 05:19 CET, Bitcoin was near $80,774, Ethereum $2,361.39, Solana $102.46 and Dogecoin $0.077795. Dogecoin had the largest decline in this four-asset sample, down 1.15% from the source reference.
There is no confirmed information that would attribute every move to one cause. Weekend volume can be lower and may change liquidity, but that is a possible mechanism rather than a certain explanation.
3. Fed, ECB and BoJ: confirmed dates
The Federal Reserve scheduled a two-day FOMC meeting for 27–28 October. Its official calendar lists the statement for 28 October at 2:00 p.m. Washington time and the press conference for 2:30 p.m.
The ECB meets on 28–29 October, with its post-decision press conference scheduled for 29 October. The Bank of Japan meets on 29–30 October and plans to release its view on 30 October.
4. A possible transmission mechanism after reopening
Changes in rate expectations can affect bond yields and currencies, then reach equities and crypto through financing costs and risk appetite. This describes a mechanism, not a forecast of any decision.
The useful comparison will be between the actual statements and prior market expectations. The meeting calendar alone is not a buy or sell signal.
