Weekend crypto move: Dogecoin down 3.24% in Saturday trading
At 14:18 CEST, Dogecoin was near $0.077377 and down 3.24% from the source's previous reference — the largest decline among six checked major cryptocurrencies. Stock exchanges and regular commodity trading were closed.
On Saturday, 24 October 2026, fresh comparable quotes came from the crypto market. At 14:18 CEST, Dogecoin was near $0.077377 and its change from the previous Google Finance reference was −3.24%.
In the same snapshot and under the same comparison method, Bitcoin was down 1.02%, Ethereum 1.26%, Solana 2.79%, XRP 3.03%, and BNB 1.96%. Dogecoin therefore had the largest decline among the six checked instruments; this is not a ranking of the entire crypto market.
There is not enough evidence to attribute the Saturday move to one news item. Lower weekend liquidity and the greater volatility of smaller assets may amplify price moves, but this is a mechanism to watch, not a confirmed cause or forecast.

1. What changed from the morning snapshot?
The morning story separated Friday closes in oil and stock indexes from the active crypto market. The afternoon comparison includes only six cryptocurrencies read at the same time from the same source.
Bitcoin was near $80,556 and down 1.02% from the source reference. The largest move in the checked group belonged to Dogecoin at −3.24%.
2. Reference point and sample
The percentage changes use the previous level shown by Google Finance, not the start of the Polish calendar day. All six values were checked at about 14:18 CEST.
The phrase “among checked instruments” matters: the crypto market contains thousands of tokens, while this article compares only BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, BNB, and DOGE.
3. Fact and possible mechanism
The price, percentage change, and ranking within the checked sample are facts. The idea that lower weekend liquidity can amplify moves in more volatile assets is a scenario.
Without a confirmed announcement or flow data, liquidity should not be presented as the certain cause of Dogecoin's decline.
4. What does a Saturday price not show?
A Saturday crypto quote is not an update to closed stock indexes, shares, ETFs, or regular oil and metals trading. Their latest levels remain Friday-session data.
The response of traditional markets will only be known after they reopen. Crypto can provide context, but it does not determine Monday's direction.
